How do I clean my abaya?

The gentlest way to clean your abaya is to wash it by hand. This is especially recommended for abayas made of chiffon or those with delicate embroidery or decorations. Make sure to only wash the dirty areas.

Here are the steps to clean your abaya:

1. Fill a clean bathtub or sink with fresh water and add a mild, appropriate detergent.
2. Carefully dip the abaya into the water and let it soak for a few minutes.
3. Gently press the fabric without rubbing to clean it without damaging it.
4. Rinse the abaya thoroughly with clean water.
5. Hang the abaya to dry.
   

It is recommended not to dry the abaya in direct sunlight to preserve the colors and to avoid using a tumble dryer. The abaya can be ironed with a steamer.
